Advantages of Conservation
Subdivision for Neighbors

Landowners used to only have two choices - either continue to own their land and conserve it, or sell it for development and see it destroyed.1 Ideally, we would be able to preserve many tracts of land as open space. Sadly, there is very little money available to purchase and preserve all but the most unique properties. Additionally, many landowners are seeking full equity and are not in a financial position to preserve their land using traditional methods.

Preserve Your Community Character
Conservation subdivisions (above right) preserve the rural character of your community, protect wildlife, water quality, valuable natural resources, reduce flooding and water pollution, and conserve your important tourism and agricultural economies.

A Welcome Change
Conservation subdivisions help preserve your community character.

It has been demonstrated that conservation subdivisions enhance the property values of nearby parcels and neighboring properties.
